How do I keep my new piece shiny clean?
Mugworts pieces are dishwasher safe in the top rack ONLY. However, we recommend hand-washing your item with a non-abrasive sponge to prolong the life of your piece.
Can I throw this in the microwave?
At this point of Mugworts Store development, we do not have anything that cannot be microwaved. All is microwave safe. If this changes, we will add special care instructions with your purchased piece.
Cracking? What?!
When you first get your piece, it may be cold depending on the weather and region you live in. Please do not immediately fill with boiling/extremely hot liquid. YOUR PIECE MAY CRACK! To prevent your precious baby from being irrevocably destroyed, first run it under warm water to prevent thermal shock.
Scratchy spot?
If for some reason a little sharp spot slips past our watchful eye (which it might, lets be real, we are human), use some handy dandy fine grit sand paper to smooth it like a baby’s tiny booty.
Tip: Try to avoid scratching up the glaze (shiny parts) because once its dull, it will never shine again.
